SERVICES and FACILITIES
We practice veterinary medicine on all varieties of small animals including dogs, cats, ferrets, and pocket pets. We stress preventative care through appropriate vaccinations, annual health checkups, and proper diet. We are a progressive established practice that places an emphasis on quality diagnostics and client education.
Our welcoming reception and waiting room includes a separate cat waiting area (right).
Annual examinations help keep your pet in good health by catching small problems before they become big problems. At these annual exams, vaccinations are also administered. Mission Viejo Veterinary Hospital has three examination rooms providing a comfortable and safe environment in which to treat your pets. |

The treatment area is designed for multiple services.
Here we draw blood for heartworm tests and other lab work, perform routine dental care, and treat various minor injuries or illnesses.

Mission Viejo Veterinary Hospital has a modern surgical facility. Surgeries are performed weekdays and include elective procedures such as spays and neuters, as well as more complicated surgeries. We perform cystotomies, enterotomies and cruciate (knee) surgeries, among others, regularly. Our hospital has the ability to bring in Board Certified Surgeons to perform surgery in our hospital, on patients that need specialized surgery. This service helps to mitigate some of the cost that the same surgery would cost at a Specialty Hospital. Safe and effective injectable and gas anesthetics are used. We also provide pain management protocols for all surgical patients.

X-rays are performed on site at Mission Viejo Veterinary Hospital Monday through Saturday. Some x-rays are performed easily without any need to sedate your pet while others do require some sedation. Ultrasounds and Cardiac work ups are also available on site by Board Certified doctors. This includes Echocardiograms and EKG’s. |
